Chief Jeffrey "Jeff" Hadley
Chatham County Chief of PoliceChief Hadley has 32 years of experience in law enforcement and public safety with 20 of those years in senior level management. During his tenure at the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Chief Hadley refocused the organization on building relationships with the community and developing trust as a cornerstone to improved Public Safety.
Chief Hadley took on the formidable task of building a 21st century law enforcement agency from scratch when he became the first chief of the newly re-organized Chatham County Police Department in December 2017. Building the department included hiring more than 150 employees, developing policies and procedures, and upgrading facilities. During the first year in operation, the department undertook strong community policing efforts while answering more than 35, 000 citizen calls for service. In 2019 Chief Hadley and staff developed a 3 year strategic plan by taking an inclusive and holistic approach engaging multiple stakeholders in the process.Chief Hadley is happily married to Jessica Hadley and they have six children ages 16-30.We are honored to have Chief "Jeff" Hadley from the Chatham County Police Department as our distinguished speaker. Chief Hadley will talk about the crucial topic of police and law enforcement collaborating as partners in business with small business owners and the communities they serve.We are delighted to invite you to an insightful and interactive Lunch-n-Learn session on Tuesday, August 22, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
The event will be held at the PARC Credit Union Financial Center, located at 5698-A Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, GA 31405.This our first Lunch-n-Learn after three years. Our Lunch-N-Learns will provide you with a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the availability of resources from many community partners that collaborate to make this region a place where businesses and the communities they serve flourish, grow, and prosper.
We encourage you to come prepared with any questions or topics you'd like Chief Hadley to address during the Q&A session. This will be an open and engaging forum, and your active but professional participation will be greatly appreciated.
